M&A sponsors and Lisa Porta co-chairs SGMA workshop

Montgomery & Associates is proud to sponsor and participate in the SGMA Implementation Summit & Workshop, June 7-8, in Sacramento. This event–a revamping of the Groundwater Resources Association’s (GRA) Annual GSA Summit–is a collaborative effort between GRA and the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA). The theme is “Addressing Current and Future Groundwater Management Challenges.”

Lisa Porta, P.E., Senior Water Resources Engineer, California Water Strategy Lead, and co-chair of this year’s summit, will welcome attendees and present an overview as well as moderate a panel about SGMA implementation. Also attending from M&A are Abby Ostovar, Ph.D., Water Policy Specialist; Georgina King, P.G., C.Hg., Principal Hydrogeologist; and Pete Dennehy, P.G., C.Hg., Senior Hydrogeologist.
