Manuel Merino joined M&A in 2013 and served in the Tucson office from 2017 to 2020. His work focuses on hydrogeologic conceptual modeling and water resources development projects such as mining, industrial and municipal water supply, and hydroelectric power. He combines field measurements, remote sensing, and tools such as GIS, computational hydrologic models and programming languages, to assess the specific project requirements.

Manuel is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English. In 2019, he presented at the Fourth Perú Tailings Congress, and in 2020, he conducted a GoldSim modeling software training workshop, also in Perú.
