M&A is a proud sponsor and participant at the Groundwater Resources Association (GRA) 2019 Western Groundwater Congress, held September 17-19 in Sacramento, Calif. This is the premier technical groundwater conference of the year in California and the western United States, featuring four tracks: Water Resources, Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, Contaminants and Remediation, and a fourth track for special topics.

Lisa Porta, senior water resources engineer in the Sacramento office, will moderate “The Rest of the Wild West: Statewide Perspectives on Groundwater Management,” which is the first session in the Water Resources track on Tuesday, September 17. During this session, Jeff Meyer, principal hydrologist in the Tucson office, will give a presentation titled “Managed Aquifer Recharge in Arizona – Experience and Lessons Learned.” On Thursday, September 19, Cameron Tana, principal hydrologist in the Oakland office, will present “Evaluating Climate Change Scenarios for Groundwater Sustainability Plans to Address Local Considerations” as part of the SGMA track.
