Montgomery & Associates (M&A) professionals contributed their expertise and represented M&A in the Summer 2026 issue of HydroVisions, the official publication of the Groundwater Resources Association (GRA) of California.

Pete Dennehy, P.G., C.Hg., Senior Hydrogeologist at M&A, co-authored “Taking the Leap for Managing Subsidence in the Central Valley,” with colleagues Nick Newcomb, Kait Palys, Jordon Navarrot, and John Ellis. The article discusses the coordinated local and regional effort needed to manage subsidence in California’s Central Valley.

Patrick Wickham, P.G., C.Hg. and Hanni Blair, both Hydrogeologists at M&A, co-wrote “Seawater Intrusion in California Coastal Aquifers” with colleagues Raghavendra Suribhatla Maruti, Kyle Young, Rick Cramer, and Hannah Fitzpatrick. This article discusses why and where seawater intrusion occurs and how this condition can be effectively managed.

M&A is an annual sponsor of GRA and supports the organization through conference participation and committee service. Pete currently serves on GRA’s Technical Committee, and Patrick is the president of the Southern California GRA Branch and a subject matter expert for the California Board for Professional Engineers.
