We’re proud to announce that Hale Barter has been named president of our company. Hale has been with M&A since 1994 and has served on our Board of Directors since the shareholders purchased the company from its founder, Errol L. Montgomery (Monte), in 2005. For the past decade Hale has also served as Chief Financial Officer for the company. His technical expertise focuses on groundwater modeling for mine dewatering and water supply development, managed aquifer recharge, and groundwater remediation. Under Hale’s leadership, M&A will continue to focus on maintaining our broad reputation of technical excellence across all of our service areas. He will support strategic growth initiatives, such as our recent acquisition of HydroMetrics WRI. Along with his new role as president, Hale will also assume the role of Tucson Operations Manager.
Hale takes over as company president from Mark Cross, who served as M&A president for 13 years. During that time, Mark oversaw the company’s expansion into new areas and market sectors, securing top talent and maintaining client satisfaction. Mark will continue to serve as a senior technical mentor to our staff and looks forward to working with new and long-term clients on litigation support, managed aquifer recharge investigations, groundwater flow modeling, well hydraulics and groundwater/surface water interactions.
Mike Rosko and Tim Leo have been named as Vice Presidents of M&A. Mike is located in our Santiago de Chile office and has been with M&A since 1986, and on the Board since 2005. Tim is located in our Tucson corporate headquarters, has been with M&A since 2008, and on the Board since 2014.
Hale, Mark, and our entire management team will work to ensure a seamless transition for clients, staff, and projects. Please join us in congratulating Hale on his new position and Mark for his years of success as our company leader.
