Porta named California Water Strategy Lead

Lisa Porta, P.E., senior water resources engineer in M&A’s Sacramento office, has been named California Water Strategy Lead. In addition to her technical work in the Sacramento region and beyond, Lisa will develop and expand our network of contacts throughout California, research new opportunities, and work on positioning M&A with prospective clients.

Lisa’s extensive experience collaborating with clients on water resource studies across California and the western United States makes her a perfect fit in this role. She has developed planning documents and presentations for several state and local agencies, and she understands California’s unique water needs.

“We look forward to having Lisa find opportunities to grow M&A’s services in California and help clients manage their water supplies,” said Juliet McKenna, P.G., principal hydrogeologist and business development manager.

Derrik Williams, P.G., C.Hg., principal hydrogeologist in the San Luis Obispo office, previously led California business development efforts and will continue to work with Lisa and the business development team as a senior advisor.
