M&A expands its Hydrologic Modeling team

With the addition of Sevinc Yeliz Cevik (“Yeliz”), M&A has expanded the breadth of services offered by our already robust Hydrologic Modeling team. Specializing in groundwater and surface water modeling, Dr. Cevik earned a Ph.D. in civil engineering from New Mexico State University in 2009 after developing a hydrologic model for the Northern Española Basin. She is proficient in the use of many modeling tools, including Groundwater Vistas (MODFLOW2000), HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, RiverWare, ABAQUS, ROCKWARE, SlopeW, and GIS software. Her recent professional accomplishments include developing objects using RiverWare’s groundwater – surface water connection module. Dr. Cevik has published papers on hydrologic and geologic modeling investigations; in addition, she has frequently presented papers at conferences and academic venues.M&A’s Hydrologic Modeling team is one of the largest and most experienced in the southwestern U.S. We offer over 150 years of collective experience applying models to solve mining, environmental, water supply, and recharge problems.
