On April 30, M&A’s Gary Woodard will be presenting an “online brown bag” session for the National Ground Water Association entitled “Causes and Consequences of Declining Municipal Water Demand.”
During this 30-minute talk, Woodard will discuss the driving factors behind the long-term declines in municipal water demand and their impacts on capital improvements, the acquisition of new supplies, budgeting and rate setting, and conservation programs. The talk will address the factors affecting both indoor and outdoor water demand, which are no longer tightly tied to population, economic output, or quality of life.
