Montgomery & Associates (M&A) is pleased to announce that Cameron Tana, P.E., principal groundwater hydrologist and California operations manager, will serve as a guest lecturer for “Introduction to Groundwater, Watersheds, and Groundwater Sustainability Plans,” an online short course offered by the Groundwater Cooperative Extension Program at University of California, Davis, in cooperation with the Groundwater Resources Association (GRA) of California.

According to the university’s website, the course, which takes place every Thursday from May 6 to June 3, will review the fundamental principles of groundwater and watershed hydrology, water budgets, water quality, and water law and regulation, all critical to the understanding of California Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs) and other water management programs.

Cameron’s lecture, titled “Sustainability Goals, Undesirable Results, Minimum Thresholds, and Measurable Objectives to Manage Seawater Intrusion in the Monterey Bay,” will be on Thursday, May 27.
