Montgomery & Associates (M&A) is pleased to announce that two professionals from the Oakland office will participate in upcoming American Water Works Association (AWWA) events. Cameron Tana, P.E., principal hydrologist and California operations manager, will participate in the California-Nevada Section’s 2019 Spring Conference, and Georgina King, P.G., C.Hg., senior hydrogeologist, will present at the Sustainable Water Management Conference.
Cameron will moderate a session on the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) at the California-Nevada Section’s annual spring conference in Sacramento on Tuesday, March 26. The theme for this year’s conference is “Confluence: Where Policy, Operations, and Management Converge.”
Georgina will present at the Sustainable Water Management conference in Tucson on Tuesday, April 2. Her talk, titled “Lessons Learned in Technical Facilitation of Groundwater Sustainability Plan Development,” will discuss successful collaboration between technical team members and a GSP advisory committee.
