For the second time in 2016, M&A is opening a new branch office — this time, in Salt Lake City, an ideal location for supporting our existing mining clients in the West and developing new business opportunities.
On a related note, M&A is also happy to announce that we have hired Chris Cottingham, a senior-level hydrogeologist with 20 years of experience in both the mining and environmental sectors. Chris will manage day-to-day operations at the SLC office. He specializes in mine dewatering and feasibility studies, groundwater management, and contaminant investigation and remediation. In addition to working for various consulting companies in Utah, Nevada, and Oregon, he served as a senior hydrogeologist for Newmont Mining for 3 years, where he oversaw the expansion of a dewatering system. He has provided hydrogeologic expertise for mining projects in the western U.S., Canada, and Central and South America. Chris has served on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Water Resources Association (Elko Region) since 2012.
Our new office is located at 150 S State Street, Suite 100, Salt Lake City, Utah. Chris can be reached via e-mail or phone at 971.227.2256.
