Chris Peters, P.G., RM-SME
Montgomery & Associates is pleased to announce that Chris Peters, P.G., RM-SME, has been named Tucson Operations Manager. This role was previously shared by Hale Barter and Tim Leo, P.G., who serve as company president and vice president, respectively.
Chris is a senior hydrogeologist who joined M&A in 2014. He has extensive experience in groundwater modeling, well design and construction, and water resources investigations for mining, municipal, and environmental projects worldwide. He has held leadership roles in the Tucson section of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) and is well known in the Arizona mining community. Chris holds a Master of Science in hydrology and professional geologist registrations in Arizona and Florida. He is also a Registered Member of SME.
“We look forward to Chris’s leadership of Tucson operations,” said Hale Barter. “As M&A’s largest office, Tucson requires an Operations Manager dedicated to the unique needs of the office and staff. This change will benefit Tucson employees and allow Tim and me to focus on the company’s overall corporate functions.”
