Hale W. Barter, Groundwater Hydrologist and President of Montgomery & Associates, is a featured alumni speaker at the University of Arizona’s El Día Del Agua Y La Atmósfera 2023, March 28 in Tucson.
Hale earned a B.S. and M.S. in hydrology from UArizona and serves on the Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences (HAS) Advisory Board.
El Día showcases research by HAS students and each year M&A awards its $2,500 Montgomery Prize for Best Oral Presentation. The prize is an example of M&A’s ongoing commitment to promoting excellence in research and communication in the field of hydrology.
Joining Hale at El Día are UArizona alumni and M&A staff members Mekha Pereira and Rachel Spinti, who will judge the student presentations. Mekha earned a B.S. and M.S. in hydrology and Rachel earned a B.S. in environmental hydrology and an M.S. in hydrology.
