Gary Woodard, Senior Water Policy and Economics consultant in M&A’s Tucson office, will  deliver the opening plenary presentation at this year’s Arizona Hydrology Society annual symposium.  Gary is teaming up with Grady Gammage, Jr., a Senior Fellow at ASU’s Morrison Institute and former president of the CAP board, to discuss “Assumptions, Extrapolations, and Outliers:  Our Dysfunctional Dialogue over Water, Environment, and the Future.”  The joint presentation will explore the question, “How do we recalibrate our baseline assumptions and change the way we think about the future?”

The AHS symposium will take place at the Hilton DoubleTree in Tucson on September 18–21.  The theme of this year’s symposium is Shifting Boundaries: Recalibrating the Hydrologic Approach.
