Abby Ostovar to speak at CSUMB event

Abby Ostovar, Ph.D., Water Policy Specialist, will give an overview of groundwater sustainability efforts and SGMA implementation in the Salinas Valley at the California State University WATER Conference, held April 13 – 14, 2023, at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB).  Abby teaches Water Resources Management, Policy, and Law at CSUMB.

This year’s conference, “Our WATER’s Future: Challenges and Next Steps,” features keynote presentations and panels to present current California water research, networking opportunities, and a local Carmel and Salinas Valley tour.
