Victoria Hermosilla joined M&A in 2019, bringing diverse experience in hydrology, stakeholder engagement, and water policy. Her work focuses primarily on groundwater sustainability in the Salinas Valley Basin for California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), and stakeholder engagement for community water planning in Arizona. Prior to her role at M&A, she led well drilling projects and groundwater monitoring programs in Southern Arizona and coordinated the Cobre Valley Watershed Partnership through a USBR WaterSMART Cooperative Agreement Grant. Victoria brings to her projects a balanced approach to hydrological challenges by incorporating policy understanding and strong communication skills. She also facilitates community groups through the Sonoran Institute’s Annual Growing WaterSMART program.
