Rodrigo Valdés-Pineda has extensive experience with surface water and groundwater hydrology, hydrogeologic characterization, and numerical modeling in support of water management and decision making across a range of spatial and temporal scales. He specializes in 1D and 2D surface water modeling, 3D groundwater modeling, and hydroclimate data analysis and remote sensing. Rodrigo’s focus has been on hydrogeologic data analysis; conceptual and numerical model development; construction, calibration, and interpretation of large datasets; and development and maintenance of project databases. His expertise enables him to translate complex analyses into technical reports and practical recommendations for multidisciplinary teams and clients. Rodrigo is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
