The Groundwater Resources Association of California (GRAC) is holding a special conference on May 3–4 to address the needs of the state’s new Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), which requires the development of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP). Tim Leo, one of our principal hydrogeologists and lead for California projects, will be giving a talk on groundwater recharge as a component of GSPs. The talk will focus on our recent work to increase the recharge capacity for a Central Valley agricultural district in an effort to promote groundwater sustainability.

The following week, on May 9–12, the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) is holding a conference in Monterey, themed “One Water, One Future.” Tim Leo will be attending, along with Mark Cross.
