Michele Robertson is an invited speaker at this year’s annual conference of the Water Resources Research Center: “Salinity & Desalination in the Southwest: Challenges & Solutions.” The conference, held in collaboration with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, will address the role of desalination in water planning, as well as environmental and regulatory concerns, technical and cost challenges, and other key issues. It will be held on April 26–27 in Yuma.
Michele will be one of four experts participating in the “Problems and Solutions” session. She will offer her perspectives on regulatory issues, based largely on her experience as ADEQ’s long-time Groundwater Section Manager.
