Abby Ostovar accepted to 2022 Water Leaders Class

Abby Ostovar, Ph.D., Water Policy Specialist in M&A’s Monterey office, has been accepted to the Water Education Foundation’s 2022 Water Leaders Class. The competitive year-long program is aimed at up-and-coming community leaders who show a committed interest in water. Each class member is paired with a mentor from a leading stakeholder group or who works as a policymaker to help deepen their water knowledge and enhance their leadership skills.

The program began in 1977 and now boasts more than 400 graduates. Several Water Leader graduates have achieved top positions at the state Legislature, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and leading private companies.

Based in Sacramento, the Water Education Foundation is an impartial nonprofit whose mission is to help build sound and collective solutions to water issues affecting California and the western United States by providing tools and platforms to engagement with wide audiences.
