M&A’s Gary Woodard is hitting the brown bag circuit next week with a presentation entitled “If you build it will they flush? Consequences of declining municipal water demand for water and wastewater systems.” The brown bag will be held at ADEQ’s Phoenix headquarters on Wednesday, August 27, from 12–1 p.m., in Room 3175. He’ll be discussing some of his recent work, which examines how changing trends in appliances, fixtures, landscaping, and home construction are affecting demands, both now and during the next decade. He’ll also discuss implications for water systems and wastewater treatment facilities.
Woodard, a senior water policy and economics consultant, is currently leading investigations into the causes of declining demands for water providers in Pima and Maricopa Counties.
