John Laney manages day-to-day operations at our Sacramento office. He has provided support and oversight for hydrogeologic and environmental investigations at M&A since 2008. His diverse environmental experience includes leading remediation efforts at mine and industrial sites in Arizona, California, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. John also has extensive field experience. He has coordinated the design, installation, and testing of production, injection, extraction, and monitoring wells for a variety of water resource and environmental projects. Other project experience includes designing and implementing monitoring programs in accordance with regulatory protocols, installing remediation systems, and analyzing data.
John plays an ongoing and critical role in a groundwater remediation investigation for a major Superfund site in the Sacramento area. His work on this project has entailed directing feasibility studies, remedial action planning, pilot testing for source-area treatment, and the conceptual design and operation of the in situ bioremediation systems. John is a professional geologist in California.
