M&A is proud to participate in and sponsor III Jornada de Hidrología: Agua para la Paz (Hydrology Conference III: Water for Peace), organized by The University of La Frontera and the Water Resources Observatory of La Araucanía Kimün-Ko, January 21-23 in Pucón, Chile.

Diego Ojeda, Santiago, will present “Estimation of Water Resources in Lithium Projects,” and José María Acuña, Salta, and Juan Gallegos, Santiago, will give a poster presentation titled “Methodological Analysis of Instrumental Techniques for Measuring Evapotranspiration in the Argentine Puna,” which was co-authored by Álvaro Martínez-Conde, Santiago, and Marcela Carmena, Salta.

This event brings together young hydrologists and early-career professionals to learn about recent advances in monitoring networks, hydrological modeling, water resource management, extreme event analysis, hydraulic design, and risk management, as well as challenges under climate change and uncertainty. Its goal is to strengthen the link between scientific research, professional practice, and public water management.
