Expert data collection and sampling using a variety of technologies
Proficient in instrumentation, telemetry, and sampling, M&A designs monitoring systems and sampling programs to ensure collection of accurate and meaningful datasets. Telemetry services can process and display real-time data, and mobile data collection applications such as Esri’s Field Maps and Survey 123 integrate seamlessly with the M&A DMS, our custom data management system and web portal. Using these apps, we develop maps that field staff can access on tablets or smartphones to navigate monitoring sites; view GIS layers, including geology and site boundaries; and collect data using custom form-based surveys in Survey123. These surveys can include a variety of question and response types, can be sequenced based on previous question responses, and allow users to collect their locations and take photos. Field staff can import these surveys into the M&A DMS using our custom HydroSQL data management application, where staff can conduct QA/QC and view the surveys on web maps accessible through the M&A DMS web portal.

- Recommend and implement a range of instrumentation to measure water levels and quality, pore pressures, process and surface flows, and other environmental parameters
