Esteban Briones has extensive expertise in water resource management through numerical flow and transport modeling. He has developed conceptual and numerical models with emphases in groundwater numerical modeling tools for environmental impact assessment, groundwater-surface water interactions, mine dewatering, brine reserve estimation, and uncertainty analysis.
Prior to earning an M.S related to groundwater modeling, Esteban worked on a variety of environmental and human health risk analysis projects, including Phase I and II contaminated site characterizations.
