Antonio Verde, M&A’s Chief Financial Officer, is a bilingual executive with extensive experience in the mining and metallurgic industry. His professional career has focused on finance and information technology, where he has recruited, trained, and managed teams from diverse backgrounds, educational levels, cultures, and origins.

During Antonio’s tenure with the mining industry, he rotated between Finance and IT, which allowed him to work directly with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Maintenance, and other departments. That experience provided him with an integral view of company and mining operations and challenges.

After graduate school, Antonio began working for the largest mining company in Mexico and the fourth largest copper producer in the world. He collaborated with professionals from different departments on short- and long-term projects for accounting, treasury, and IT. He implemented and upgraded enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems across 4 countries, navigating diverse languages, cultural organizations, and regulatory environments. The projects he led and managed were delivered on time, specification, and budget. As an expatriated executive, Antonio gained experience learning about other countries’ respective regulatory cultural environments as well as different tax laws, USGAAP, and IFRS rules.
