M&amp;A estuvo bien representada, y Marla Odom, hidr\u00f3loga de aguas subterr\u00e1neas en la oficina de Tucson, recibi\u00f3 el Premio al Servicio de AHS.<\/p>\n<p>El premio se otorga a un miembro de AHS que haya brindado beneficios excepcionales a la sociedad y sus miembros en una o m\u00e1s categor\u00edas de servicio: programas educativos de AHS, servicio de cap\u00edtulo, servicio de junta corporativa y\/o simposios de AHS. Marla ha servido a AHS y sus miembros en las cuatro categor\u00edas de servicio.<\/p>\n<p>Marla se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como juez durante al menos 10 a\u00f1os en la Feria de Ciencias e Ingenier\u00eda del Sur de Arizona para el Cap\u00edtulo de Tucson. Fue la primera en recibir la beca Leonard Halpenny Intern Scholarship en 1996 y, despu\u00e9s de recibir la beca, ha administrado el programa de pasant\u00edas durante 23 a\u00f1os. Organiz\u00f3 con \u00e9xito un taller de modelado de flujo de aguas subterr\u00e1neas para recaudar fondos por valor de 10 a\u00f1os para la parte de financiamiento del cap\u00edtulo de Tucson para el programa de becas para pasantes de Halpenny, y tambi\u00e9n coordin\u00f3 con el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n de Recursos H\u00eddricos de Arizona el taller anual del Proyecto WET realizado para maestros. durante el simposio.<\/p>\n<p>Ha participado en la planificaci\u00f3n de simposios en las tres ciudades (Phoenix, Tucson y Flagstaff) desde 2013 y presidi\u00f3 el evento en 2013. Marla ha sido miembro de la junta corporativa y\/o del cap\u00edtulo durante 23 a\u00f1os, ocupando una variedad de puestos. Ha sido presidenta del Cap\u00edtulo de Tucson siete veces, incluido su per\u00edodo actual durante los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os.
