En colaboraci\u00f3n con el Ministerio de Miner\u00eda de Jujuy, en el noroeste de Argentina, Montgomery & Associates ha desarrollado un modelo conceptual y num\u00e9rico integrado para la cuenca Cauchari-Olaroz. Este esfuerzo cooperativo involucra a comunidades, empresas e instituciones p\u00fablicas que trabajan para la gesti\u00f3n responsable de los recursos h\u00eddricos destinados al desarrollo del litio.<\/p>\n

Como parte de esta iniciativa, el equipo de Montgomery & Associates dirigi\u00f3 un taller sobre hidrolog\u00eda aplicada en las cuencas altoandinas, cuyo objetivo era fortalecer las capacidades t\u00e9cnicas y promover la gesti\u00f3n sostenible entre las partes interesadas clave.<\/p>\n

Participaron en el taller Manuel Merino<\/a>, Gerente de Operaciones de M&A Santiago, y Jos\u00e9 Ferretti<\/a>, Gerente de Operaciones de Salta, junto al gobernador de Jujuy, Carlos Sadir, y representantes de Rio Tinto, South American Salars SA, Minera Exar SA y comunidades locales de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Todos los participantes coincidieron en la importancia de integrar este tipo de estudios en los marcos de monitoreo ambiental existentes como base para la toma de decisiones informadas y sostenibles en \u00e1reas ambientalmente sensibles.<\/p>\n
