La aprobaci\u00f3n de estos GSP para las subcuencas Antelope, Bowman, Los Molinos, Red Bluff, Corning y Colusa hace que todo el Valle de Sacramento cumpla con la Ley de Gesti\u00f3n Sostenible de Aguas Subterr\u00e1neas (SGMA). Las Agencias de Sostenibilidad de Aguas Subterr\u00e1neas (GSA) del Valle de Sacramento Occidental trabajaron arduamente para completar tareas adicionales durante un per\u00edodo breve, que incluy\u00f3 la temporada de vacaciones de 2024, y ahora todas las GSA en el Valle de Sacramento han cumplido con su requisito de demostrar planes para alcanzar la sostenibilidad de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas para 2042.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Porta, PE, ingeniera principal de recursos h\u00eddricos de M&amp;A, apoy\u00f3 las revisiones de los GSP en los condados de Tehama y Glenn, y en particular, el GSP de la subcuenca de Corning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa revisi\u00f3n del GSP fue un gran paso adelante para las GSA en las subcuencas del oeste del valle de Sacramento\u201d, dijo Lisa. \u201cEs un testimonio de su dedicaci\u00f3n a la gesti\u00f3n sostenible de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas el hecho de que hayan reformulado algunos elementos clave del GSP, incluido el trabajo en los planes de gesti\u00f3n de la demanda y mitigaci\u00f3n de pozos para respaldar la sostenibilidad de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas a largo plazo que beneficia a todos los usuarios de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El Valle de Sacramento cuenta con una base s\u00f3lida para respaldar los esfuerzos destinados a alcanzar la sostenibilidad de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas para 2042. Los GSP aprobados anteriormente que recibieron apoyo de M&amp;A incluyen aquellos para las cuencas de Santa Margarita, Santa Cruz Mid-County, Salinas Valley y Sonoma County.
