M&A is dedicated to helping our neighboring communities and beyond. At the corporate level, our efforts to give back include funding university scholarships and awards and contributing to non-profit organizations. Individual staff members are also dedicated to charitable giving and volunteerism.

M&A is proud to be a long-time sponsor of the University of Arizona’s annual El Día del Agua y la Atmósfera and GeoDaze events by providing the Montgomery Prize to students in the Departments of Hydrology & Atmospheric Sciences and Geosciences. Named for our founder, Errol “Monte” Montgomery, the prize is awarded for best oral presentation.

M&A employees are involved in our communities by participating in professional organizations and serving on boards and committees. Many of our staff also volunteer their time.

Georgina King, P.G., C.Hg., Principal Hydrogeologist, traveled to the Kingdom of Eswatini on a volunteer assignment with Thirst Project. Read about it here.

Employees from our Tucson office volunteered with the Watershed Management Group to remove Arundo donax from Tanque Verde Creek. Read about it here.
