M&A’s Santiago office obtains ISO 9001 certification for quality control systems

Montgomery & Associates, LTDA, our Santiago branch office, is proud to announce a major milestone — ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality control systems.

ISO 9001 is a set of international standard and guidance documents for quality management and quality assurance. The certification is designed to help organizations provide products and services that meet the expectations of clients and address applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition, ISO 9001 focuses on achieving consistent results and continual improvement for business processes.

M&A’s certification was the result of a rigorous process to define a quality policy that specifies procedures and methods for all business activities, from hiring new staff to conducting field work. It also defines processes for measuring the effectiveness of our activities and ensuring their traceability.

According to Mike Rosko, Principal Hydrogeologist and Santiago Operations Manager, “The ISO 9001:2015 certification deepens our commitment to quality. Although we have always focused on customer satisfaction, we now have the tools to ensure that quality continues to be a priority as we look to the future.”
