Lyle Davis joined M&A in 2005, helping us broaden the technical services we offer to the mining sector. With education and extensive project experience in hydrogeology, surface water hydrology, and hydraulics, Lyle has a wide range of expertise. He has been involved in nearly every aspect of mining hydrogeology, including surface and underground mine dewatering, hydrologic permit support, water supply investigation, and analysis of potential water quality impacts.
Lyle combines his mining expertise with a specialization in groundwater modeling — particularly the modeling of pit-lake formation, pit dewatering, and pit depressurization. He has developed numerous models to simulate these processes in complex, hard rock environments. He has also developed models to assess the impacts of mining-related pumping and to facilitate the management of mine tailings water. Lyle has provided modeling support for the Collahuasi, San Manuel, Cerro Colorado, and Tesoro Mines, among others.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, Colorado, and California.
